Thousands of semi-retired and retired affluent Europeans spend several months of the year in the sun, to avoid the bitter winters of the UK and the continent. From a business perspective, these loyal repeat visitors are the perfect customers.

Adjoined to Costa del Silencio is the more traditional Spanish fishing town of las Galletas. With its pretty harbour and beach, it gives tourists the opportunity to enjoy a more local flavour just a short walk away. Both sides of the town have substantial residential population, ensuring trade throughout the year for businesses in the area.

The future for Costa Silencio is bright and prosperous. Public sector investment combined with the area’s isolation makes this a region of considerable interest for entrepreneurs.
